Rylie Miller is a student of the arts with aspirations to work in the film industry as a producer or camera operator. She is involved in the PHILM Guild at PennWest Edinboro. As a transfer student coming from Westmoreland County Community College, she is well diverse with working with small classes of 4 people to bigger groups of 20+. At her previous school, her work has been shown in juried exhibitions in the campus art gallery. Rylie was selected to work with artist Seth Clark, where she was granted a day in his studio as well as an work experience right beside him. As a first-generation college student growing up in a rural community, Rylie found the experience of working with a professional artist eye-opening. Rylie works two-dimensional and three-dimensional using charcoal, polymer clay, and cardboard, as well as digitally with photography and film. Diversity, nature, film, and the unusual inspire her work and the message she tries to convey.
